IT Tralee to benefit from €2.3 million funding

IT Tralee is to benefit from funding to the tune of 2.3 million euro.
It received the allocation as part of the Department of Education's a 100-million-euro Strategic Allocation Fund to reform the higher education process.

IT Tralee works in collaboration with Shannon Consortium, an education partnership between University of Limerick, Limerick IT, Mary Immaculate College Limerick, and IT Tralee.

UL received a 12-million euro allocation, part of which will go towards foundation and access courses in Killarney, which will give people from diverse backgrounds flexible access to certificate, diploma and degree courses.
